What makes Life Giving Moments unique?
The mission of Life Giving Moments is to educate our parents, grandparents, children and teens about the use of online media today. Technology allows 24/7 access to media and the amount of time that youth participate in online living is dramatically rising.
Kids are living online 7+ hours a day. With multi tasking that bumps it up to 10+ hours a day. But what are they doing? Are they all playing Grand Theft Auto for hours?
Parents are the key to their family’s healthy online living. Life Giving Moments gives the WHY, HOW and WHERE to parents who want a say in what is going on but may not have the time or the depth of knowledge needed to tackle their kids’ use of media, including internet, cell phone use, apps, games and other aspects of online living through direct links to providers, app and game reviews, software and the latest in hardware developments.
Life Giving Moment provides the:
- WHY To block and monitor media by focusing on age appropriate media, blocking predators and violent media and creating involved families so that media use does not translate into anti-social behavior or cyber-bullying.
- HOW To get educated, block unwanted media, share family values and create an atmosphere of social trust between parent, kids and all the family’s online media devices.
- WHERE To provides constant updated resources to support and help families make good media decisions, whether is ‘what to see at the movies tonight’ or ‘is that game appropriate for my 8 year old?’
